The beach is lovely with an amazing backdrop. The sun set here really sets the mountains on fire. Loved it.

My daughter and I had a weeks stay in Cape Town and a highlight for us was definitely the Buffet High Tea on Saturday the 21st Jan at the 12 Apostles Hotel. The table selection was outstanding, starting off with savoury eats like cocktail sandwiches, vegetable poppers and a cheese board and then moving over to the sweet treats which... More

We had dinner at ths hotel in the Azure restaurant as a special teat. It is not cheap, by SA standards, but sill good value for overseasviitors. We had the 5 course taster menu, which was superb. The setting is beautiful, and the staff so friendly and helpful. Although no shorts or open sandals are allowed, the dress code is... More

After a terrible lunch at Twelve Apostles December 2016; nearly an hours wait for the main course, prawn stroganoff, of which i only had few mouthfuls, bland, old mushrooms giving it a grey colour ..... no seasoning, just cream, bland and unappetising. On sitting down when we arrived, we waited twenty minutes before going to ask a waitress to get... More

I visited this area as part of the day tour to Cape Point. the actual number of the rock formations can vary depending on who you are with as a tour guide. It is worth seeing as part of a tour as we did, but I would not go there just to see them.

Grab a local tour group and head off they cover all these places and you get a commentary as you roll.

The twelve apostles look good from many angles, including looking up from Camps Bay Beach, or from the top of Table Mountain. I was lucky enough to see the "table cloth" clouds coming over the 12 Apostles one day, it was beautiful to watch

If in Camp Bay, there is a clear view of Twelve Apostles. HAve lunch on the beach and enjoy the interesting mountain range.
