A very interesting couple of hours was spent wandering in and out of aviaries and monkey enclosures getting close to birds which are not seen in the UK. The Birds are well cared for and the monkeys highly entertaining. The highlight for us was the...More

This place is really very sad & the birds in particular are in a very poor condition. The enclosures are in a terrible state. Some of the animals were showing signs of distress , the honey badger is a prime example. I wish I never...More

We like going to animal parks or bird centres and we weren't disappointed! A sad story behind this place but some beautiful birds are there now and other animals. The stand out treat for me was seeing a scarlett ibis next to an albino peacock...More

Really pleasant place to spend a day and enjoy birds and monkeys. It is a outdoor place. Choose a beautiful day! There are moments when people can interact with small and cute monkeys.

Their monkey park was probably the most memorable experience for the kids, since the squirrel monkeys will climb on top of your head—if you let them. Apart from that, there's a lot of birds, of course, as well as tortoise, meerkats, lemurs, and a lot...More

The sactuary is huge with an array of birds, small mammals and reptiles. It is amazing to see the hard work that is being done to give these animals a comfortable life. Please visit, it is very informative and some of the are truly interesting.

In April, it was R85 (£3.50-£4.00). But worth it to see the honey badger! And they really need the financial support!!
