If you want to escape the rest of the tourists, this is the place to go. We went there straight after we got settled into our hotel, and it was the perfect start to our Cape Town adventure. You'll see the most beautiful view of...More

Tourists usually flock to Bloubergstrand to photograph Table Mountain in all her glory, but if you'd like me to recommend a beach in Cape Town for the purpose of actually . . . well . . . going to the beach, then it wouldn't be...More

You can walk for kilometers on this stretch of beach. Watch the incredible antics of the Kite Surfers. Enjoy the views of The Mountain from a distance, just such a brilliant view. Lots of little rock pools to explore. And there are so many coffee...More

Bloubergstrand has a long stretch of clean white sandy beach to walk or take your dog. Water not suitable to swim (very cold). Excellent for windsurfing.

The beach is crowded with athlete in paragliding and surfer. For families it'd good for activities like passing ball, playing football but not for like playing sand building castle. There's quite nice restaurants around

This beach has the best view of Table Mountain, and has some nice restaurants in the area. Fascinating to watch all the kite surfers do their thing.

The view was awesome at this beach but the beach itself was unkept/dirty. It may have had something to do with it being a major holiday, but I would be hard pressed to go back.

The last time we visited was in March - for a family get-together at Onse Huisie. The beaches are for walking, windsurfing and enjoying life. Blouberg is a far more family oriented than Clifton and Camps Bay
