We arrived at the museum 10 mins before the railway tour and boy were we in luck. We were taken on a railway joy ride through the Montagu pass and up over the mountains with magnificent views throughout. Tour guides are very helpful and informative...More

So enjoyed browsing around this very well maintained and interesting museum. Also book a trip in the Power Van up the Outeniqua Pass. Well worth a trip, which leaves from the museum.

Absolutely amazing to see the machines of the past. Happy to seem them being preserved. Brilliant place to visit.

What a great place to visit. So much to see and do, kids love it. Food is good. You can not just see the Trains from teh outside you can get in and view the inside. Brings back lots of memories frm my childhood.
