I love museums and continually visit this one as the displays are changed from time to time. It holds great interest for me particularly as I once spent a weekend there in 1962 when it was still a hotel! At the moment there is a...More

This is a free museum which contains a lot of local information and exhibits plus art for sale. It took us over an hour to wander round and take it all in as there are various rooms both upstairs and down. Some of the exhibits...More

As with many other museums the displays are not interactive enough and the kids get bored easily. Huge potential here, but you just get the idea that there is not enough money or the willingness to grow with the times. Worth a visit though.

Not the best displays and could use more interactive activities but my son enjoyed it. Ok for a small city like George.

I have always found this an interesting place to be. So much to see and take in. The displays are changed periodically so one can make repeat visits. Well worth a visit.
