Amazing scenery. Unbelievable peace and tranquility. A perfect setting to enjoy the warm hospitality of the owners. We stayed over for two nights, but would have preferred it to be two weeks. Really enjoyed the nature hikes, light lunches, wine tasting and our overall stay....More

Once again we had an excellent experience at The Herold wine farm. Great wine and an outstanding cheese board. The farm is child friendly with a fresh atmosphere and an awesome drive up the Montagu pass. Regards John and Anneme Offen.

Took a scenic drive up the beautiful Montague pass and stopped at the wine farm for lunch. Rather a limited menu on offer, but the cheese platter was excellent! Paired with a glass of vino and a balmy sunny day, it couldn't get better than...More

Stunning setting, excellent wines and such warm hospitality! This is a definite must visit if you are staying in George, take the scenic Montagu Pass. I highly recommend the delicious cheese boards while you are wine tasting!!

A big thanks to you and all the cyclists visiting the cellar and bistro. We are planning a 20 - 25 kilometer technical/not so technical single track through the vineyards and Fynbos to enjoy before heading down back to George.

Hi thanks for asking! We do a small cellar tour and tasting of seven wines. It takes about 40 minutes. There is a R20 tasting fee that is waived if any of our wines are bought. Wine regards Nico
