I am loving being here on the Garden Route with the afro-montane forest near Wilderness and Kynsna. How wonderful to get coast and forest side by side in many places Whilst staying in Plettenberg Bay we drove the scenic route to Natures Valley and walked into the Tsitsikamma Forest which was beautiful and later went down onto Nature Valley Beach. Drove half of the garden route from Cape Towm to Knysna. The scenery is something else! Honestly, hire a car and drive the Garden Route. You won't regret it!

Wonderful views of mountains, rivers and animals along the way. Going through super little towns where everyone seems so friendly and there are lots of places to stop and have a good meal. A lot of travelling but worth every minute. Will definitely be going back to see all the places we were unable to visit this time.

I grew up next to the park and worked there for a private concessionaire. It remains one of the most beautiful places. The walks, and hiking trails suits people of different ability. If possible one should attempt atleast the first 3 kilometres of the Otter Trail and definitely cross the suspension bridge. I'm not keen on the restaurant there as... More

we Loved this adventure----travelled from Capetown, stopping at Stellenbosch,Oudtstroon, ostrich farms,Kysna, Plettenberg Bay, to Addo, game reserve. Roads are good but you drive on left side of road,so must feel comfortable to do that.It is beautiful along the coastal route, turning inland at George.,then returning back to Kysna,a gorgeous place with lots to do,and a waterfront, with great restaurants,galleries,shops..

Every year we plan to go somewhere else, but we always land back on the garden route. So many things to explore and do, so I fear that we'll be doing quite a few trips still in the future. Our last two trips we avoided the N2 as much as possible, which opened a whole new perspective. It is definitely... More

Beautiful in so many ways. Sea views, lakes, dunes, mountains, rivers... the list just goes one. Friendly people in very town, no matter how big or small. Accommodation for every one's taste and budget. Restaurants serving only the best fare. Action attractions or total relaxation, what ever suits your taste.

The Garden Route is simply beautiful. Very well preserved natural habitats. This is what the garden of Eden would look like.

We were with a tour group and after flying from Durban to Port Elizabeth we followed the Garden Route, stopping for especially interesting sites and noteworthy scenery. Beautiful scenery!
