Unfortunately it rained when we visited, we did complete one walk, the white elephant walk, about 5 miles which started on roads and wide farm tracks but soon left the tracks and followed a narrow path through the forest, too wet to see much wild...More

After visiting Addo elephant park and failing to see a single elephant, what a pleasure to be up and close with these wonderful animals. These reuse elephants are loved and extremely well cared for... No tricks or games just real 'Ellies'. A wonderful experience which...More

After meeting up with Elephant and Lion expert Gareth Patterson, we explored where the secret elephants walk. Gareth's knowledge of fauna, flora, birding, elephants and the wild in general is extremely interesting. He used to work with George Adamson's lions and spent many years in...More

Nice happening with 7 elephants you can feed and touch and walk together with excellent guides. The guides do a great job explaining and the elephants can really walk fast

Did two of the 3routes which all link together- black and white take about 4hours in total. We managed to do them backwards somehow but was a gorgeous walk although being out of the sunlight it can get chilly. A couple of picnic spots if...More

Nice walk through the forest. Plants are dense with true Knysna trees. Heard lots of birds but didn't see any other wild life. There is a lovely picnic spot. Everything was clean and well kept.

Great review and if i'm honest, I was apprehensive for all the same reasons having reviewed their website. The tour also looks painful but the opportunity to get close to them looks worth the cringe? Can we just rock up and look or do you recommend an alternative option somewhere else. Of in Feb, so any advice would be grand!
