Though damaged through shortsighted tourism schemes in the 1960s, these caves are still worth a visit for their eerie dark tunnels and stunning limestone formations.

Visit to Cango Caves

Well worth a visit. Read about them in our guide book and decided to visit and were so glad we did. The Caves were really very impressive and we had a great guide.

Very nice experience!! We had the 1.5 hour tour. The guide was nice and funny. The tour was informative as well as adventurous. We crawled through the caves. Especially 'the chimney' is quite challenging :) The chambers are amazing, I have never seen such a thing.

Thought that it would be similar to Cheddar Gorge in UK but this surpassed it. Awe inspiring. Good guided tour, although we didn't go on the adventure tour! Good value for money. Don't miss it.

I'm never sure about caves and whether or not they'll be worth the trouble. This one is incredible and fine for even the claustrophobic. Bring your own picnic as the food is terrible and don't expect much from the expensive and sad gift shop.

I really enjoyed our visit here. It was easy to reach from our hotel and the road to the caves is very windy but beautiful. I'm not sure how busy it gets at weekends or high season but we didn't have to queue and joined a guide easily. There was a choice of an English or German speaking guide which... More

Despite being skeptical about visiting yet another tourist attraction, we really enjoyed the tour. Very interesting, and our guide was fun!

Enjoyed visiting the Caves again, you don't get tired of the beautiful rock formations. But the tour was a bit rushed. I guess that is to be expected during the holiday season.

This place is STUNNING!!!!! Our tour guide broke out in song at one point so we could hear the acoustics. Pity I don't remember her name but she was brilliant. Her voice is stunning and she converses in multiple languages. The Cango Caves blew my mind and you will be in awe. Please visit there, you will love every moment

We've visited caves all over the world and this is one of the best. Well organised guided tours with a real history lesson from the knowledgable guide. A great place to visit and good value too.

These are the best caves I've been to. They are enormous and well maintained. The different stalicmites and stalictites are magnificent. The guide was good and gave us a lot of history regarding the caves. We did shorter route as we had children with us. One of the requirements of doing the longer tour is that you are able to...
