You can discount price from our stay in Old Mill Lodge. We didn't know the Ostrich skin is the second strongest skin. We didn't know that in the mating season, the ostrich's legs will turn pink. Very interesting!

We went to the Ostrich Farm for lunch as part of a tour of the Garden Route. Surprisingly interesting with one of our group actually riding one of these large and almost scary birds. Great entertainment and the lunch was good too!

A nice, compact visit packed with interesting facts and fun interactions. Our guide was excellent - knowledgeable, well spoken and made an effort to connect with the whole group. Exceeded our expectations.

I see the under 75kg weight requirement. Do you have to be a certain age to ride an ostrich?

There is no age limit for riding an ostrich but please be aware that they can run extremely fast so keep this in mind when deciding if it is safe for your child, hope this helps.
