The art lover will find this museum fascinating, but if you are only interested in art you may find yourself walking a little bit faster though the museum.

Situated within walking distance from Dorp Street, a visit to the Rupert Museum is well worth it whether a South African or a foreign visitor. Many famous South African artists and sculptures can be seen here in elegant surroundings and venue.

Very interesting collection of preserved houses ranging in dates between 18th and early 20th century. The houses are all within a short distance of each other and are fully furnished in the style of that era.
