Stopped at Oom Samie's during our recent South African visit and don't really know what to say. Even though it sells old stuff, It should also move on and keep up with modern times. There was just nothing new and exciting and the staff were...More

Quite an interesting shop. Very full but lots of interesting stuff and lots of history items which makes it worth a visit. Just very pricey and clearly aimed at tourists.

It was painted as an Alladins cave and it really isn't ... the shop upstairs next door is a much better vintage treasure trove!

Disappointing following Rough Guide recommendation. Uninspiring diverse range of goods - staff not particularly child friendly.
