This is a very family friendly spot - great for picnics with children on a sunny day. A fair amount of shaded and comfortable picnic areas are available. We tried the Silvermyn picnic and it was lovely. The portion sizes were pretty big for two,...More

The venue is beautiful. We had a lovely Christmas picnic on wide open benches. The gardens are lush and the food is delicious.

Zorgvliet offers an excellent variety of beautiful wines in an old school farmhouse with high ceilings and dark wood furniture. One wine which is not available tasting, but is so worth every glorious sip is their "Richelle" vintage Cabernet (25% petit verdot).

We wanted to enjoy one more wine estate picnic before winter set in, and the estates stopped serving picnics. Enjoy we did! We had one meat-eaters basket which had a WHOLE roast chicken, the tartlets were delicious and the pasta salad had the perfect amount...More
