The wine farm is beautiful. We found the wines not so great and the hostess wasn’t very attentive to the needs of the guests. Although the R65 special for the tasting did include a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Freedom Day came in the real sense of the word. The saxsophonist, Cedric Baadjies provided soothing jazzy tunes while we soaked in the tranquility of the Winelands. And this was all for free. You could enjoy a formal lunch at the restaurant or grab a...More

We stopped for a light, late lunch of oysters and sparkling wine. My wife declared the West Coast oysters, “The best I’ve ever had!”. And, the glasses of Kaapse Vonkel sparkling wines ( one brut and one brut rose) were perfect accompaniments.

Great wine range though preferred the whites to the reds. Tasting room a little too warm to be comfortable on a very hot day, but cooler than outside tasting area. Great prices.
