they finally repaired the fountain, it must have been the center of the Jewish Qtr, where people collected the water for their daily needs, it must have been also a place of meeting or cloth washing., is part of the walk of the quarter.

It is a pretty little fountain, but I guess I don't see why it is particularly special. If you are there, you might want to see it, but don't expect to be incredible... it isn't.

Very attractive covered fountain with a pyramid-shaped roof held up by marble pillars and located in a small square. Water still flows in the ancient washing area.

This beautiful fountains, in Castelo de Vide (Alentejo, Portugal) , was built in the XVI Century, and it is situated in one of the many narrow streets of Castelo de Vide, nof far from another place of interest. the Judiaria (Jewish quarter ), where the Jews should live, because Christian authorities wished to segregate Jews from the Christian population.
