I enjoyed the place. 2 hours on bike to see everything inside. The only bad things are the outdated toilets.

Nice helpful man at the entrance. He gave us a map and explained how we could do a shorter walk if we wanted to. This is such a lovely place for a walk. Watching all the birds. I have never seen so many crabs burrowing...More

We visited this lovely natural park and observed a couple of interesting sections of the park. Not too many birds but lovely to see nature and the river estuary. The place is well signed and easy to follow. Staff at the entrance were helpful and...More

My husband and I did this walk today. While the orientation plaques are a bit dated and some impossible to read, we did learn some things both about nature but also about how milling and irrigation were handled in the past. Hermit crabs were funny...More

Beautiful little island with picturesque houses- a jewel in the Ria - well worth a visit. Sea life very rich and protected. A wealth of sea life and birds.

I would highly reccomend booking a 3 hour boat trip with Sabino boat Tours out of Olhao. They have excellent, boat, skippers, guides and equipment! It's both relaxing and educating!

Did a two hour boat trip which we all enjoyed. Saw quite a few birds and loved landing on the deserted island. Memorable and very enjoyable thanks to super commentary by guide about the birds. Eco tour company but I can’t remember the name.

Sorry about the delay in responding. You can enter and view the park on foot. I think the entrance fee was 2 euros, or something of that order.
