We visited the Rojo Tango instead of taking in the tango show (excursion) offered by our cruise. The show and food were amazing! Definitely worth the price.

We opted to just do the show. The driver was on time to pick us up. We had a great table and view of the stage. We received wine and dessert, which was unexpected and nice. The show was Fabulous! It kinda flowed in a historical development of the Tango. The music and dancers where great! Do miss a tango show while you are visiting BA.

The catwalks made it easy to view the glacier from various angles. We had a perfect day for visiting the park. The weather was sunny and fairly warm and even though the park was crowded, there was ample space to walk without being in a crowd. There is a cafeteria at the top of the parking area. It would be nice if the concession was more environmentally conscious and used something other than styrofoam and less plastic. We took a bus tour from Calafate. The guide was fluent in several languages including English.

We had a fantastic tour guide who made the most of our time together. We had another couple join us late at the penguin colony. Because of this we lingered at the best location and spotted whales! Lunch was fabulous and our host at the ranch was generous and welcoming. The group got anxious about making it back to the cruise ship in time but we did. The tour guide reminded us all that because of our delay we got to see whales. If we had not had that delay we would have missed the whales.

Loved the band and the tango show; dinner not so great. Driver was late, so we were last to be seated and last to be served. Steak was so tough I could not cut or eat it. Awful. Other courses and wine were OK.
