Situated in Puerto Madero this naval training ship built in 1899 has been beautifully preserved with its original features. Plenty nautical items of the period, old photos and the chance to look into an officer's cabin and the engine room. An interesting video about the...More

A cool naval museum that is floating in Puerto Madero. It's free to enter (you can make a donation) and there are many interactive pieces that teach you the history of the navy and this ship.

We encountered this majestic tall ship on our visit to Puerto Madero. Unfortunately it was not open for visits at the time, but our guide explained its interesting history prior to it becoming a museum. Well worth a visit.

Very busy attraction. Need to allow about 1 hour to be able to see everything on the tall ship. Opposite the dock are several bars where you can take a cool drink after the tuor.

After having dinner in the restaurant, cabanas las lilas, we walked through the port, on the fragata Sarmiento there was an activity with tango dancers and the Argentine marine music band, good music and excellent dancers and the best... the concert was free.
