Loved the walking tour and Amelia. It was a great way to meet new people and also get a unique experience while in Buenos Aires. I enjoyed people watching and taking a snap shot of life in Buenos Aires. I would highly recommend this tour to all skill levels.

The photography tour with Amelia was really inspiring and so much fun! She took us around off the beaten track in Palermo (an area which she knows really well). She really gave good tips on how to improve your travel photography but she also inspired the group to be bold and be more aware of your surroundings (key in street... More

My wife and I are very much into photography, but we prefer to staty away from the usual must-see attractions and focus instead on the off-the-beaten-path locations that present a particular interest from a photography standpoint. We therefore decided to hire Amelia more as a guide with an eye for the photogenic places. Boy, did we hit a home-run with... More

Thoroughly enjoyed my day out with Amelia. The spontaneity was part of the fun. Street photography is all about opportunities that may not come your way unless the person you are with knows the area well and Amelia certainly proved her ability to navigate the small intimate streets of the Palermo area. The opportunities to take great photos were endless.... More

I was in Buenos Aires just for 4 days and looked for a tour to know better how to use my camera. The tour with Amelia was great! First, she explained me the basics, then we went through the streets to take pictures and then we had a look on them on the computer. I really enjoyed the tour and... More

I liked a lot the tour I took with Paloma (Amelia's assistant). She gave me lots of photography tips and tricks; I enjoyed a lot the location as well since it was not the usual place I would go. Amelia contacted us very quickly (with one day in advance!) thanks a lot

Amelia is a great guide. She's friendly, knowledgeable, and comfortable on the BA neighbourhood that we walked. But for the money, I would have expected a more organized, defined, and planned 4 hour walk. At times it was a bit random, and for much of the time it was like walking untik we found something. I was also not comfortable... More

Thank you for taking the time to review my tour. I appreciate your kind comments and would like to address the parts of the tour that you did not enjoy. The beauty of street photography is that things can happen randomly before our eyes, it can not always be planned or timed. One day it's there and the next it... More

From my first email to when I met Amelia for my tour Day Clicker was a first rate operation. We visited some amazing little spots I would have never found on my own. We chatted with locals while Amelia taught me some invaluable tips and tricks about shooting subjects on the street. It was a great afternoon and I would... More

I was in Buenos Aires for only three days. I emailed Amelia about taking a tour just a week before I was going to be there. She was very accommodating and even offered a different day from what was listed on her website. My first day there, I met up with her for a photography tour of Palermo Soho. We... More

I got in touch with Amelia while I was in Sydney and it was super easy to book a custom tour. We corresponded on what I would like to experience and accordingly on the day, we went to some really interesting locations and streets. The barber shop was very cool. Amelia is amazing. She knows the streets and the ways... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
