Took a guided (english) tour and it is worth it. It is a beautiful building. The marble entrance, the chandeliers, the ceiling ... While on the tour on the balcony, they were preparing the stage for a production and you could hear the workers talking...More

I wasn't initially excited about coming here but went along because others in our group wanted to see the teatro. I would strongly recommend you take an hour to go on a guided tour here. A visit gives you great insight on Argentina, and how...More

This is no doubt a splendid building and one of the most important theatre in the city. It is simple and elegant but not too extravagant. If you have enough time, you should consider joining the guided tour.

Did the guided tour with Lourdes. She was THE best. I could have stayed in the theatre for hours. Next time, I'd book tickets for an actual performance.

San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the
footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area
of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the
true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down
streets lined with office buildings and banks. The
financial district is well-known for its vibrant
atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours.
After dark, the hubbub and migrates to Corrientes
