Very nice way to rebirth this area, using the existing architecture and including a modern living style. Very similar to Canary Warf in London.

Extremely nice attraction . Very pleasant atmosphere. Magnificent landscape. Unfortunately, basically being a touristic site in Buenos Aires, the restaurants are considerably expensive. But, for sure, a visit in Puerto Madeiro is mandatory when in BsAs.

This area has nice views along the scenic canal with lots of restaurants and bars. Visit in the late evening is ideal.

One of the best places in Buenos Aires to go for a walk, for a run, for a drink... Alone or with a company. Although there are always a lot of people, there is plenty of space for everyone.

these grain warehouses were built and very well by the British. and then they were abandoned. but because they had been so well built decades later they could be turned into a series of restaurants on ground level and offices on the first and second levels (loft style). very trendy, very good food.

Buenos Aires can be crowded everywhere and at all times. this area is visited by lots of people, but the difference is that the pedestrian area is large and wide. A good break from the crazy Florida street madness. Lots of expensive restorants you can avoid unless you want to splurge in an nice setting. Make sure to visit both... More

Magnificent bank of the river. Good place to rest, to have a walk and meet with friends. It is also romantic.

From a recycled port facilities, there is a very nice Riverside walk plenty of cafes and restaurants. Near a natural reserve and the pink (presidential house), in the heart of Buenos Aires.

Nice place to have a walk, lunch or dinner. Several restaurants with many options, unfortunately water from river seems to be dirty.

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighbourhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
