Fantastic and riveting tango show! You can tell that the performers were passionate about their craft! The female singer, Rosana Laudani was phenomenal and captivating. We booked the show (without dinner and drinks) through their website and the show was WELL WORTH THE MONEY! I went with an Argentinian friend and he was blown away too!

We liked the atmosphere of the room and the wait staff seemed friendly. The food was just ok and the caesar salad had nothing in common with a caesar salad. The steak was ok but a bit tough, and dessert was just average. The show was fine. What we noted was during the request for tips which they projected on to a screen at the end of the show they noted that the tipping is to the discretion of the gentlemen. I understand that it is a different culture but also a little dated in 2023. I think guest may be a better term as I saw many groups of women and I am sure they could figure out a tip without male guidance

Loved the tango show experience at Esquina Homero Manzi - would recommend people book directly - we paid $50 USD each for transfer to and from the city, a three course meal, beer and wine and the show. Have seen it advertised on third party sites for over $200 - the bus was a bit late and slow in picking us up and I was a bit worried as had booked direct but we got there in plenty of time for the show (you could probably just uber/taxi there directly if you were a bit anxious about the bus picking you up).

We booked this on Viator and bypassed the tango offered by our tour group. This is an old fashioned nightclub, very authentic, with many attentive waiters. We shared a salad and each had a glass of wine before the show started. The show starts late around 10pm. It was very intimate and included dancing, singing and music on a very small stage. Not a huge production like some tango places. Show lasted about an hour and a half and we really enjoyed it.

DO NOT waste your time or money on this place. Total scam in an unsafe neighborhood. We reserved 2 months in advance. They wanted a “certificate” to get in. We said online and they let us in. Fine. We bought the nice meal but they tried to tell us we had to pay more for it until we showed them the email confirmation (they took our phone physically to confirm). Then the musicians we subpar. They must have been mainly students who didn’t know the music, and they were off beat the whole time. The food was over cooked and mediocre at best. Very rude family in front talked the whole time. And to cap it off, I was robbed leaving the venue. DO NOT GO!!!

This is a true authentic tango place, opened also for tourist. The show is traditional tango, with an amazing orchestra, specially for the guitarist and the pianist. All the team is of very high quality, dancers and singers. It is a real tango show. Moreover, you eat very well. We were a group of eight, and all was perfect, since the car taking us at the hotel, till the end back. Passing by the nice wellcome, the perfect timing, the excellent food and the excellent show. Moreover, it is much more affordasble than many other less authentic proposals. Special word for the place itself, one of the most sacred tango places in Buenos Aires, finely revived by Eulogio and his team. If you are looking for a perfect tango show, don't hesitate!

I was hesitant about this because of the price, but figured we'd try it anyway. My wife and I were picked up at out hotel and driven in a nice van to the restaurant. Once there we started with beers, piscos, and other drinks. We had a four course meal, salad, antipasto, steak (more than 12 oz, possibly a pound), and dessert, all we could drink throughout the meal and a live tango show (all live music). I ended the evening with sambuca's and cointreaus and we were driven back to our hotel, all for less than the equivalent to $60.00. I know we gained on the exchange, volatility was rampant, but still one of the best evenings we had in Buenos Aires... would do it again in a heartbeat, for five times as much no questions asked!

We paid something like $30USD pp for just the show, but that did include a transportation option! Since the show didn't start until 10pm, we opted to eat earlier on our own, so I can't comment on the food. When we arrived we had excellent service and were able to order drinks, and even got some free small-bites! The show was impressive with a series of different dances ranging from just 2 people to 10 all at once. Although our price included transport, we opted for taxis instead, since it would have added significant time waiting for every other hotel guest to be picked up/dropped off (about an hour on each end). Nonetheless, they were very organized and had our reservation on file, and a seat on the van for us.

We did the dinner and tango show and it was worthwhile. First, the food was better than we expected, and we had options (chicken, fish or beef). My chicken was moist and flavorful, noting to complain about. Hubby did the beef and again, the best beef in the world is here. Dessert was fair. The show was quite good and we enjoyed the dancing and the singing. Worthwhile.

One of the more local low key tango shows in town. We were told about it by an Uber driver and said we would try it out. It was also a fraction of the price our hotel was charging to see the bigger shows. In an old downtown area you have the choice to eat before the show. We went for show only but the food we saw going out looked decent and we got free Empanadas!! The show started just after 10pm and there was no break for the next one hour and twenty minutes roughly. There was obviously a lot of tango dancing plus traditional music and singing. Overall very enjoyable. A bottle of nice house wine and two waters was less than €10.
