Neighbourhood: Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.

I allways describe this place as a quiet place to read and find whatever author you are looking for.

A bookstore, not only needs a wide stock of books, it needs in addition good sellers whom must be good readers too, in order to understand and empathize with customers preferences.
At Cuspide you'll find both.
By the way, street number is wrong, it is Vicente Lopez 2036 instead of 20136.

Buenos Aires is a city with many libraries, but Cúspide is certainly one with the most wide range of books. You will always find some enjoyable book.

This is one of my favourite bookstores in the city because it has quite a large selection and yet it is not huge, so you can look around and it doesn't take up a lot of time. It's quite easy to find things: new releases, books about music, cinema, design, food, etc. And it's got a cute kids' corner. There's a Starbucks inside the bookstore, so you can have your coffee and grab any book out there -provided you don't stain it-. Vicente López 2036 is the right address.

Great ambience and customer service, book selection, and a reading area where you can enjoy a Starbucks coffee/snack while browsing any of the available books.

One of the better bookstores in BA. Also carro CDs and DVDs.Another good one in ATENEO, where you can have coffee and a pastry while leafing through books which are available. A very good place (Cúspide) for all your needs!

There's a Starbucks you can see thru the window. You complain there`s only one comfy seat and the others are too high, so they tell you there is a sector with tables and chairs like a regular coffee-shop. You order one of the varieties of excellent brews and pastries and go sit. You went for a coffee and almost forgot you are in the middle of a gorgeous library but only for a minute, you haste with your cup and start walking the corridors. You happen to find all the books you have meant to read and then some. Books are heavy to carry and expensive to buy. Heavy? This is just around where I'm living. Expensive? Nothing can give you more pleasure for the price than a book. Compare with movies. Books you can examine and decided for or against. Once you seat at the cinema you are stuck with whatever they show , even the worst turkey. So listen to sincere advise: Go to Cúspide for some good coffee and buy an armful of good books. Or do the opposite: go for some good books and have an excellent coffee while you comfortably start the fulfilling process of reading one of your books.

good selection of books, used to have technical texts but not so much now. Largest branches are on Florida St and in Recoleta Mall.
