The place is so much fun! You can pay for a tango lesson and then spend the night there drinking and keep dancing or just watch the amazing Argentinian doing it (eating is not very recommendable). Prices are affordable and the atmosphere is unique. A...More

The best part of this club was offering 3 in 1 solution. I went there during my Buenos Aires visit. It starts giving classes on Tango at 11 p m, you can be in group for absolute biginngers, level 2 learners of advance learners. The...More

The place is a bit neglected, but it adds to the style of the place. Prices are quite reasonable and you can just get a table and watch the locals dance or try a few steps yourself. As other reviewers suggest, it is best to...More

One of the things that mostly stroke me in Buenos Aires was that tango was not everywhere, In fact you had to look for it. One of the places you can go is "La cathedral". Though it is pretty close to the metro station, you...More

If you don't come to the Tango lesson, and like us, only want a night out watching some locals dancing Tango, you should come not before midnight. Definitely don't come hungry, the food and the service are not so great, to say the least.

As tourists to Buenos Aires, we didn't want to go to the heavily marketed tango shows that seemed to combine questionable food and high prices. A friend from Buenos Aires suggested this place as a good neighborhood place where the locals just go to tango....More

When I walked in, honestly, I was not sure what to expect. This place has character! I had a fantastic tango lesson by Matias, who is a very good instructor, handsome, funny and very good at teaching the nuance of the dance. Because I came...More

A really cool place to go and checkout if you are after a cheap alternative for seeing a tango show. We went on a Wednesday night and it was 80 peso entry each and there was plenty of tables to sit down at. The lessons...More

Great place for dinner, a tango lesson, and a chance to watch some tango by Argentine locals. It's not as slick or professional as some of the shows, but it felt more authentic and real. Plus it is a lot cheaper (about a quarter of...More

Great night out! Tango lesson was great fun, beers were reasonable. Was recommended this place if we wanted to see 'real tango' rather than a touristic show. Plenty of dancing opportunities after the class also as the locals are more than willing to guide you!...More

We certainly didn't need Spanish to get in the door and hang out. Pretty sure the classes here are taught in Spanish, but dance is a universal language, so my guess is you could even take a dance class without knowing much... More
