Though this museum is small for the size of Buenos Aires population, it does have considerable wonders to see. The children all around us were completely thrilled about the exhibits of dinosaurs, the buttons to push to hear the calls of different birds, the sand playground next to dinosaur bones. I especially enjoyed the deformed animals and "icky" animal display... More

I visited this museum some years ago and was disappointed with the lack of care (funding?) it was showing. Gave it another shot in July 2016 and to my surprise the museum was back to its glory, in its 200 Anniversary. Museum was packed with kids and their parents, lots of activities going on, displays are renewed, everything is well... More

If you like the subject, it is a must together with the natural science museum at La Plata. The best collection of dinos and actual fauna of Argentina

The building is huge. Has several collections of dinosaurs fossils and animal eskeletons. Very well sorted and organize. A lot of school students visit the museum during weekdays. The entrance fee is very cheap.

A nice visit for kids and adults. Don't expect the glamour or size of the big museums but it's worth the visit.

We enjoyed this very much. Not expensive and lots to see. It was a short walk from our hotel and the personnel was very well informed.

It is definitely an old fashioned museum, which gives it a special charm. Although parts have been updated, it still has the atmosphere of a classic, where the value is in the collection. If you or your kids like prehistoric creatures it's definitely a must. The giant dinosaur in the main room if amazing. You can also learn about the... More

My four year old and I LOVED the visit: it's a small museum with great dino bones and some lovely taxidermied displays of animals and birds. Super cheap entry, beautiful old granite building and easy taxi ride from Palermo.
