Top ways to experience Recoleta Urban Mall and nearby attractions

The area
Neighbourhood: Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.

Lower quality than expected. Prices are high for what's offered. I would avoid it if you are looking for something representative of how wonderful Buenos Aires is. And by all means, DO NOT go to the Starbuck's in this location. They don't know how to make a latte. They just pour some regular coffee & hot milk in a cup. No espresso. No steamed milk with froth. There is a McDonald's in the mall and it is way overpriced and has terrible food & service. I thought I'd try a McDonald's cheeseburger & a Starbuck's latte just to see what the quality was like. HORRIBLE. You can get much better food & service from a small local cafe.

I walked to Recoleta Mall on my last day in the neighborhood from my hotel in Buenos Aires. This mall is adjacent to the famous Recoleta Cemetary where Evita Duarte-Peron is interred. You can get a decent view of the cemetery if you go up to the third floor food court. I did not find any noteworthy stores here save for a handful of Argentine shoe, leather, and clothing stores like Key Biscayne. Key Biscayne carries men's clothing all made in Argentina. I inspected a few pieces ranging from evening wear to casual wear and it is all of the highest quality. I even purchased a pair of slacks that tempted me with a sale price. This mall has air conditioned space but wasn't operating at a level that kept me comfortable during the summer weather. Bathrooms are clean and plentiful. Security staff patrol each level constantly. Food court has various median and bargain priced places to eat. In summary this is an average mall.

There's a reason this mall is completely dead...

If you have a lot of money to spend on Chinese made fabric, I mean, clothing, by all means, hit up the stores here! You'll get the honor of paying $100 USD for a dollar tree scarf.

Nothing here but the same crap you can buy everywhere else in the world. The mall has air conditioning, but that is also wasted since there's no where to sit down when wasting money tires you.

I don't know where these good reviews came in from. Even overpriced tourist streets offer better deals.

At this recoleta Mall you will find Village Cinemas Recoleta, you can get tickets online and watch your favourite movie in a clean and comfortable environment.
On the 3rd floor you will find one of my favourtite chocolate chopes in Buenos Aires, Mamouschka, you buy them by the weight and they have special packs too.

Despite the signs indicating that no food is allowed in exception for the one you buy at the candy store I suggest you get your chocolates at Mamoushka. The prohibition is against Law 25156 and 24240, and if any of the Village Recoleta employess pretends to see youar bag you can also claim that this request is totally agoinst your intimacy, and you are covered by theour Consitucion Nacional art 18.
Mi suggestion, pick your movie, get your chocolates and ENJOY

Located, in fashionable, "French-style" barrio, Recoleta; behind the famous Recoleta Cemetery, where Evita Peron is buried. It's a modern shopping mall; including multiplex cines, shops and restaurants. Easy access to heart of Recoleta sights and five star hotels! HIghly recommend, whenever in the hood.

Malls in BA are not very economical places. New York or elsewhere in the world are better for purchasing goods, since BA prices are very high due to excise taxes. Concentrate in BA on the architecture especially in Recoleta , Palermo, San Telmo, some areas of the micro-center and areas near Av. Rivadavia. Many of the cafes are great places to relax, and no one will bother you for just buying a coffee.

I was not impressed with this mall. It is very small and mostly houses fashion boutiques with clothes that are over priced if you live in the U.S.

A modern mall located opposite to Recoleta Cemetery, we were there to grab something to eat, there were many restaurants and cafes that suit every taste.
There were plenty of shops and brands and a cinema. If you love shopping then this is the place for you.

Situated just in front of the western side of Recoleta cemetery (that is, on the city side), many good places to eat (try the casual stack house Angus), you can do some shopping, relax, change money and find very clean toilets. There are also cinemas (but I don’t go when on holidays).

Very good quality/price levels.

It's ok, many other things to do, see or eat in around Recoleta. However, its restaurants have a nice terrace overlooking the cemetry.
