This wasn't worth the cab ride from downtown Mar del Plata. The boats and sea lions are what you would expect, smell and all. It's a working port so expect for a few run down souvenir stands, it's not really set up for tourists. You...More

We were there with nice to see the "lobos marinos" and the fishing ships is a nice picture. There is not a lot to do there but half an hour tour is nice.

Nice for a visit in a cloudy day and also if you stay in Mar del Plata in a place with kitchen, so you can buy seafood.

It was nice, longtime ago, to visit the port, see the boats unloading the catch. Now they only have an are with not quite good restaurants, with street vendors pushing you.
