It is hard to explain if you should or not visit, but I'll try. It depends on who you are, to find this place interesting. I did like it for my own reasons, but if I was just a tourist with not much time I would have regretted. So if you are just a tourist looking for a cool place... More

It´s truly awkward place. If you want to explore genuine local customes, it´s a good experience. If you do not believe in town mysteries, avoid this trip.

actually visited this place in july 2011. after seeing so many difunta correa shrines on the side of argentine highways, i think i was expecting to be blown away by the place. the shrine was interesting and i enjoyed looking around but it also was a tad grungy. if you're in the area, though, it's worth the detour as it's... How many miracles attributed to the Difunta Correa? There is so much stuff there given to her as proof of gratitude that you wander amongst little wooden houses, licence's plates, sport trophies and so on wondering about that popular cult which is so huge in Argentina. Incredible. A must see!
