Even if you cheer for one baseball team, experience more than one baseball park. Each one has its own feel - and food and atmosphere - to enjoy. Catch a day game, or, if you prefer, an evening experience. TIP: If you want to stay out of the AZ sun, be sure to book shade tickets. The sun can be... More

Every year when we come down to AZ, we go to a couple of Cactus League games. Although they are not cheap any more ($35ish) per ticket, it still a fun thing to do.

A good many of the major league baseball teams have their spring training facilities in Arizona. Whilst these are training sessions prior to the start of the major league season at the end if March they are also competitive, with teams trying out new players for the season proper. The stadiums are well equipped and have excellent facilities. There are... More

Just a good relaxing time to watch baseball. My one concern is that the ball parks are getting bigger and bigger. The cost for the games is also going up, why would I want to pay the same price for spring training as regular season?

Went to Cubs. They take your pic in front of replica of Wrigley sign for free. Great new park. Also went to White Sox. Easier to get good seats all of which are in the sun. We were there on a cooler day which helped. In the back of the park is a beautiful walkway with water. This is outside... More

We had never attended a Cactus League game and had the opportunity on a recent trip. We saw the Mariners play in Peoria. The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxed. We opted for the inexpensive "grass" area in the outfield. A wonderful experience for young and old. We have attended Mariner's games in Seattle, but this was nearly as much fun... More

We had a great time watching the Cubs and the Mariners ball game. In fact a new spring training attendance record was set that day. The stadium is beautiful. It offers great seats and views. The day we attended, our seats were mostly shaded from the afternoon sun which can get really warm in the afternoon. There are a lot... More
