Really fun place for kids. Be sure to wear or bring socks for the no shoes room or you will not be allowed in that area, unless you want to buy their socks. Rooms/areas were full of hands on activities for all ages. Ideas were very decorative and artistic. Would definitely return. Beautiful set up.

I took 2 boys age 9. They were entertained for awhile but I had to slow them down to do most things. Then it became evident that most activities were sit down, quiet activities like coloring. The venue needs some active bouncing things to do.

We took our 18 month old nephew for an afternoon on a hot summer day. What a fun time for the little guy. There was plenty to keep in engaged in the activities. One of the things we noticed was no one was crying. How unusual in a place full of toddlers! They were in their "happy place".

Fun place for children to learn! My grandchildren (currently 26 and 23) loved it and still have wonderful memories of our visits. Things to see and things to do. It was great fun to sit on the floor and be creative...very special time for all of us.

This was a place that I didn't know existed when I moved here in 2005. In fact, I didn't know about it until I got a job here after teaching for 20 years! This is a place that has been rebranded from the Arizona Museum for Youth (AMY) to i.d.e.a. Museum (Imagination.Design.Experience.Art) They have revolving installments, about 4 per year... More

Along my journey exploring Mesa I found this family gem with younger children. The Idea Museum is the perfect activity for small children offering a creative outlet. Who doesn’t want to color, create and be inspired by science.

I took my two year old grandsons here to keep them happy and out of the heat. They loved everything. It was easy to keep track of them. The area is gated. Everything is hands on and easy to play with, from giant blocks, hand puppets, train, kitchen and lots of play items. I think adults should have half price. I... More

This place is great. My grandson who has Autism loved this place, so much to do. A lot of activities for him that really kept him busy.
