This is a small park, but very interesting and it's free!. The roses were in bloom while we were there. There is also a monument in the park that is a very interesting read. It's a great way to spend an hour or so on a beautiful Arizona day!

Unfortunatelly the rose garden of Mesa Community Garden is not well maintained. There are variety of roses here but they are not pruned, cared properly.

I was so excited to visit this place, after I read a review from 2 weeks previous. Upon arrival not a single rose in bloom and a lone gardener trimming barren branches :( I am sure this place is beautiful in season. Im guessing season starts in April. It would be nice if they posted a schedule. If and when I... More

It was actually my 85 year old dad who toured the MCC Rose Garden. He loved it. He said it was a beautiful enjoyable walk. He was surprised by how nice it was.

They are beautiful and thriving so nice to see roses while so many are facing blizzards. Time stops when we stop to enjoy the beauty and fragrance of a rose.

My nineteen year old daughter and I enjoyed our afternoon stroll through the rose garden. I believe we may have only seen a small portion of the garden and many of the roses were not in bloom at the time. There were a couple of sculptures and pretty benches to sit and relax.

Some 10,000 roses grow on the northern 5-acre boundary of Mesa Community College. The Rose Garden is managed by many volunteers from the community, winter visitors, and the Mesa East Valley Rose Society. Entrance is FREE to this incredible garden, we just ask that visitors do not cut the roses, as they are growing in this place to bring smiles... More

Thousands of rose bushes in well maintained plantings. The Veterans Memorial Garden is especially well done. There are signs in each bed that prompt you to call on your cell phone and get informative descriptions of each portion of the gardens.

I love all kinds of flowers. I was very happy when I see the many and colorful flowers at the Rose Garden. Such a refreshing view amidst the August heat in Arizona. I surely will go back in September when all will be in bloom. Nice staff also and very helpful.

I stopped by in between my classes at MCC. There are a few sidewalks and paths running through it but mostly dirt or grass pathways. There are many different kinds of roses there in various colors. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.
