Main Street and Falcon Field locations have an issue of keeping all beer available on tap. The Cherry Blonde and the Dunkel are out quite often. Personally, I have had much better tasting beer at the several breweries in the Phoenix are and won't return to either Desert Eagle location again.

I've visited here off and on since they first opened. I found their early beers to be of much higher quality than my last few visits. This is becoming a very competitive market for craft beer, and they will need to up their game a bit.

Wife & I were promptly seated, busy because of nearby Mesa Center for the Arts exhibit. Wife had 5 flight taster, I had Buzz Bomb IPA. Wife enjoyed all tasters except for pomegranate wheat. Main St. Blonde Ale ,Black Cherry Blonde Ale, Golden Eagle Wheat and Red Mountain Ale. Buzz Bomb was just o.k., but fish tacos were worth the... More

We like to take our friends on beer tasting excursions. This is a great place to start in downtown Mesa. This place has one of the longest curved bars that I have ever seen. I like a pale ale or light colored beer. They have 2 or 3 on tap. A few of my friends like IPA's and the darker... More

Nothing too special here, least fav beer of all the breweries we tried. As someone mentioned beer seemed a bit off, some issue there. Staff was nice and space was funky. Nothing much going on in downtown Mesa either.

Desert Eagle staff greeted us and made fun intros. Scott remembered our names on the next visit. It's fun to have good fresh beer and a local stop where they call you by name. Just like Cheers good beer.

I live close to desert eagle (a bicycle ride away)... So its a good spot to grab a beer. Downtown mesa, main street is attempting to be a little cooler, so we like that! The beers are really tasty ( try the dunkle). The food is pretty bad. It will fill you up, but its not really what I would... More

Late night visit after a show. Friendly bar tender, interesting selection of local craft brews. Sampled a grapefruit IPA, and a porter. Both were excellent. Many flat screen TVs line the wall behind the bar and would be a fine place to catch a game & a beer!

Everyone has told us how great this place was, but everytime we tried to go it was packed. Guess that's a good thing. So we decided to stop by on the 4th of July before we went to the fireworks. Good choice, it was only half full. My wife & I sat at the bar and each had their sample... More

I have been giving the relatively new breweries in the Phoenix-Metro area at least two visits before reviewing. No exception here, first time, it was okay, very few beers available, all okay but nothing got me excited. However, on my second visit, the Imperial Adler IPA, blew me away, plus a beer mix called Bad Adler was even better. The... More
