This place is free to enter and takes about 25-30 minutes to walk up (1,070 stairs). The views from the top are stunning and there are also beautiful little artificial waterfalls with some nice sitting areas at the top. We took the cable car down (75 pesos per person), which was really nice too. Highly recommended!

You can see the whole city of Salta from above, there is a "teleférico" that gives you a whole trip over the city! Excellent!

Having visited this Superb location to view Salta from a height this trip we focused on the wonderful waterfall series they have created at the top of this hill/mountain. If you are a student or a Senior you get a cheaper rate for the Up and Return. Recommended location in Salta.

The park contains a lovely statue surrounded by grassed area that was not a lush as some of the photos. Many people go for picnics and exercise. It is a nice monument to visit with some street vendors at times

The way up to Cerro san bernando is nice for an afternoon walk. From the top there is nice view. It could be a little cleaner on the way up. But you must definitely go. Best view in town.

It is the perfect mountain to enjoy nature and an unparalleled view of the city of Salta. You can go by cable car, but much better if you visit by bicycle or on foot.

Ok, it had been raining all day when we visited this place but still, all you can see from up there is the view of Salta. Not very exciting! And for 150 ARS it was quite expensive, I paid €6 in Madrid for a much longer journey!

During an afternoon of wandering downtown Salta, I found myself near the teleferico which brings you up to the top of San Bernardo (75 pesos one way, 150 round trip). I didn't spend all that much time at the top, but it was a nice view and an interesting little area to chill. My favorite part was walking down the... More

To get an overview of Salta la Linda, you can hike up Cerro San Bernardo. There is a path with steps starting behind the statue of San Martín. There is also a teleferico going up but it is expensive for the short ride. If you want to get some exercise in, this is a great little hike, but it´s not... More
