Travel to Salta and herewith you have a great view of the city below. Students and Seniors get a lower price to ride up to the top. The view of Salta is not available elsewhere. You will love waterfall arrangement at the top. Well worth the price.

The view from the top is excellent. You can walk up, but it is a long way. Even walking down was quite strenuous.

A ride up the gondola is well worth the cost. Cooler at the top and nice photo ops around some man made waterfalls. We bought a couple of glasses of good and inexpensive wine from a vendor at the top and enjoyed the view

It was very easy to get onto and fairly reasonably priced. The ride is fairly quick but allows you plenty of time for photos.

It's an interesting attraction for such a traditional place like Salta, but somehow it seems almost a natural feature. The ground building is made a part of the landscape with a really beautiful building, with glass features, that hide the machine, and the parts that are visible, have been painted and lovely to the eye. The ride is very easy,... More

So I had a day with no excursions and was told to go on the teleferico and see the town of Salta from above. My hotel was near the main plaza which was about a 20 walk to the teleferico. The towns in Argentina have a lot of stray dogs so watch your steps as you may step in lots... More

I took the cable car up and down but would recommend to take it up and take the walking traild down. There are some man made waterfalls by the tip and fabulous city views. Vendors sellig local items food and wine and a cafe. There are also some lovely areas by the top to have a picnic if you bring... More

Beautiful views, safe enviroment. Fast and highly recommendable. You can also ascend by walking, which is also beautiful though tiring.

Lovely view from the top and a relaxing ride on the way down. Worth walking up from town if you can then get the cable car down to give a sense of scale.

Very good view of the whole city of Salta, gives an excellent panorama but the cost is high. It is the typical tourist cable car (teleferico), which is a good option if you do not have your own car to get to the top of Mount San Bernardo. In any case I recommend to do it in the morning, to... More
