Catholic church located in the main square, close to other important turistic spots. After an earthquake, it was rebuilt in the second half of the XIX century. It is well preserved and reminds the baroque style.

The cathedral is worth a visit. It shows the importance of Salta la Linda as the pathway of the Spaniards from Peru towards Argentina.

This is the central cathedral and beautiful...especially when lit in the evenings. Surely not comparable to the ones in Europe but very charming.

We have visited the cathedral during the night, the gate is open until late afternoon. The facade is fully illuminate and is really fascinating as well as the inside of the Cathedral
