Don't miss it! Whales and walruses are certainly a very moving experience; but learning about great achievments in outstanding humanity is all the more a rare and unforgettable one! Great to visit it before visiting Gaiman and Trevelin, or other Welsh colonies in Patagonia. During the 19th century, many emigrated from Wales to different parts of the world, fleeing from oppression, exploitation, and hardship. Learn details from the first group of immigrants who disembarked from the Mimosa and how they established the first colony in Puerto Madryn.

The day I went to walk that part of the coast the museum itself was closed, but there is a circuit with explanations on what happened, there is a memorial with the names of the first Walesmen that came in the "Mimosa" and the view is really nice. Would need to go back again to access the museum or eill... More
