Excellent museum within walking distance of the port. Beautifu historic building, with excellent sea displays. the building is just beautiful, with narrow doorways, a fantastic staircase, and lovely floors. The man in the booth was very welcoming and we had to write where we were from in the visitors book, but the visit was free. Well worth the short walk from the port if you visit Puerto Madryn…

Nice small museum. Be aware: there are no English translations under the exhibits. You can get a brief English description of each floor at the front desk

We had an easy gentle walk up to the museum although had to dodge traffic to cross the road to it. It is a lovely little building with a spiral staircase which will eventually take you up to the top floor with a good view. The exhibits are well set out with a giant squid in a glass case. Entry is free and after signing in we were handed a map of the rooms and exhibits. This museum is funded by donations and were were happy to leave a donation behind having had an enjoyable time there.…

We really wanted to visit this museum, but it is not open on the weekends. Museums should be open on weekends for people who work during the week. We were very disappointed to miss it.
