We came across this statue when we did a long walk along the coast from where our cruise ship had docked. There are a number of monuments and statues along the way, this is probably the most impressive. I think it pictures one of the local Patagonians and he certainly is an imposing figure. Stopped here for a photo opportunity while on the land train tour. was interesting to hear about the Welsh connection in this area and the help given by the local people hence the statue. A good place to stop for photos of the statue and thee area.

During our tour we stopped for a quick photo opportunity. It is dedicated to the Patagonian Indians who helped the Welsh Pioneers when they arrived here.

This is one of those 5 - 10 minute stops for a quick picture and maybe an overview of the area. We cert6 would not put it as a go to must stop but if you are driving by OK for a quick stop.

A great spot to stop and take a picture of the bay and the monument to the local Patagonian Indians who helped the original Welsh settlers of the Valdes peninsula.
