The waterfall is an attractive feature in this area and is reasonably easily accessible from the car park. Getting there and back from San Martin de los Andes requires the best part of a day as the drive involves over 50 Km each way on...More

It takes at least an hour by car from San Martin along a gravel road to reach the car park for the Falls. The last few kilometers are single track and steep in places. Only an occasional sign reassured us we were going the right...More

I did the long trip by boat. it was a lovely way and the guide was great! we didn't have enough time at chachin to really contemplate it.

Nice place to visit if you have time for it. The road to the waterfall is not asphalted and thus it takes langer to reach the destination, especially if you have a small car. The sight of the waterfall is nice, but not breathtaking.

Super nice. easy hike to a viewing point of the waterfall, can't get any closer though which is a shame. The water is jade green! Big group of cows and calves in the parking too, interestingly.

I took a boat cruise. The boat stopped and we all got out. I had a long and sometimes arduous hike to reach this sight. It was worth the hard work. It's really spectacular!!!

Kind of a jungle like rain forest. Love the diverse flora! Definitely worth your time. There is a nice little cafe for tea, and a snack too.
