Lovely beach

The beach is wonderful and the view delightful. It's an ideal place for a pic nic or a snack on the beach on a sunny day. Unfortunately, there isn's an organized parking area and the camping area is not very attractive. But you can go without entering the camping area and enjoy the beach anyway. In summer, it's one of the least cold lakes in the region!

Breathtaking sunset

We had the luck to watch the breathtaking sunset from the road. The light was perfect over the mountains... It's a special place to contemplate the God's work.

Beach with grear views

This lake offers great scenery and wonderful colours in the crystal clear water. The beach is fairly long and families like to sit on their deck chairs in the sun.

On your way on the Route of the Seven Lakes ...

Right between lakes "Espejo" and "Escondido" on the "Route of the Seven Lakes" and not far from Villa La Angostura, you'll find "Lago Correntoso" and its beautiful beach.
"Lago Correntoso" is much favored by tourists and locals for swimming and sunbathing on Summer months and it is always a perfect spot for long walks, silence and inner reflections. Enjoy!

excellent view, quite place. Correntoso's river is the shortest river in the world. Nice!

We spent some days visiting Villa la angostura and South of Argentina and Chile.
Villa la Angostura was one of the best places we visited.

Correntoso means with brisk current and that is what it is but definitely calm and pleasant for a visit and stay.

We cross our fingers to make our dream come true. Being able to contemplate the Correntoso Lake from your own place... can you believe how cristal clear the water is? Plus, River Correntoso being crowded with trouts!!!

Beautiful lake on the 7 lake road

Lovely lake, great views one of the many on the 7 Lake Road which is now paved and beautiful. In height of summer it has some traffic, in autumn the trees change colours and it is awesome and in late spring the flowers are stunning. In winter with snow it is also a sight.
