We visited in January at the peak of the summer season and decided to take on an 8-hour trek around Cerro Catedral - an impressive mountain to the south and west of Bariloche. To get there we took a taxi to the ski resort and a cable car and chairlift to the higher levels. From there it was four hours... More

I did the Circuito Chico and the five to and from San Martini de los Andes. The scenery is simply beautiful, reminded me a lot of Canada. The big lake looks more like the sea.

Even though this town is famous for ski resorts, it is quite a good idea to come in summer too. This national park offers many things to see. Beautiful yellow flowers (probably Spanish Broom) are all over the town, making the whole place brighter and more vibrant.

Truly a beautiful place. We spent a few days kayaking and hiking in the area and it is one of the most amazing places I have ever travelled to. Stunning scenery and great lakes to kayak on, many trails and mountains to explore. Put it on your bucket list already.

Had a guided walk though the park and it was really interesting to learn about the flora. There are some very unusual trees, including one that smells of chocolate - very apt as Bariloche seems to be founded on chocolate. Took the ski lift to the top of Cerro Otto mountain - the views are unbelievable.

Manuel Huapi National Park is a beautiful location to visit. There are numerous lakes and the Rio Manso River. You can visit the glacier overlooking the park. Hiking trails and camp grounds. Fishing was great. No regrets about our visit

This park competes with anything I have seen in North America or Europe. Climb one of the peaks, such as Cerro Bella Vista, to get a rewarding view of Lago Nahuel Huapi, and take a boat trip from the Llao Llao peninsula to Puerto Blest. The beauty of this park is unparalleled.

We took a beautiful ride along Route 40 north of Bariloche through the beautiful Nahuel Huapi National Park, towards San Martin de los Andes. The mountains and lakes were breathtaking and the ride quite beautiful. Many places to take gorgeous photos! Highly recommended!
