This walk in one of the largest lakes in Argentine Patagonia, is a unique experience since you will be able to access bays and ports where you only get there by sailing and you will find beautiful cypress forests, coihues, myrtles and native fauna of the Nahuel Huapi National Park .

Best views from the Lake either in winter or summer. It is a good trip to do with the boat take half a day with Arrayanes if you do not have enough time.

I had the chance of being there for 15 days with my friends, and I must say that it was the best experience I've ever lived. I do not exaggerate when I say this place is magic!! If you have the chance to go, you won't regret it! We didn't stay in a hotel, we camped, and I swear you that it doesn't exist a better way to living the full experience! For me, the best part was the sky, the sky was FULL of stars!!! I had never seen anything like this! The night was perfect because the sky was amazing, unbelievable. Well... I hope you have the chance to be there, you'll never forget!! :)

Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi was created in 1934 from land donated by naturalist Francisco Moreno. (The park's history is covered in detail in Bariloche's Museo de la Patagonia in Centro Civico.) It is Argentina's oldest national park and the 2nd largest and averages 800,000 visitors each year. We went on a half-day tour which visited all the highlights -- Cerro Campanario, Lago Moreno, Punta Panoramico, Llao Llao Resort and Capilla de San Eduardo. Truly spectacular views of crystal blue lakes and snow capped mountains. WOW!!!

This place is really lovely, filled with lakes, rivers, fjords, volcanos, forests, and much more! Saw birds and sea lions, porpoises in the water. Didn't see much wildlife in the woods, though.
