A really good ski station for all kind of skiers, the elevation methods are fast and good, the slopes are fun. Also the infrastructure in the bottom is good.

Catedral was unlike anywhere I’ve skied before. It was expansive and beautiful with so many bowls and backcountry. There were lots of places to get food and drinks at the top of the mountain and the views were incredible

See pictures! What luck! End of season powder and great blue skies. Restaurant Lynch is a must in the mountain. Nubes to Militaries run is the best long cross piste run. Buy passes online as the cost less and definitely rent your ski equipment at Catedral Ski Rental locates at the base of the Gondola. Alejandro is a jewel. I demoed my skis and change them out each day for five days. Length, brand, on and off piste! Espectacular!…

This is no doubt a beautiful ski resort. And once you get up in the mountains it’s great. But it’s so busy. My husband had a 2 hour lesson and spent 45 minutes in queues for the magic carpet. The beginners slope is absolutely horrendously busy. After his lessons he could only get up the hill twice in a hour. Considering how expensive his beginners ski pass was it’s not good enough. I am more experienced and went up the mountain, taking three chair lifts to the top. But I still ended up waiting 45 minutes for the first chair lift up. The views at the top and the skiing down was awesome. It’s an absolutely massive ski resort. I couldn’t find any public toilets at the resort. I almost peed myself. This resort is a case of commercialism gone wrong. There were just trashy shops and restaurants selling unnecessary stuff (e.g a Coca Cola ‘booth’), but not providing the services you actually need like toilets or places to sit outside for free. They need more public buses to the resort. The ones we got on were rammed. I kept feeling dizzy due to the heat on the bus, the amount of people on the bus and being jerked around as I was standing. The bus queues build up 30+ minutes before the buses are due to arrive. We spent an hour standing on the bus each way and then so much time waiting for the bus to beat the queues. So expect to wait in loads of queues, too many people and awful buses. These factors made the day we spent skiing in Catedral not particularly enjoyable! It’s particularly bad for beginners. My husband spent loads of money and probably got less than 20 minutes of ski time and the rest of the time waiting in queues. …

Great Skiing! Some of the terrain was a bit slushy since we were there early in the season. There are a ton of places to rent ski equipment in the village so don't bother renting from anywhere outside the village. It's nice to stay in the village if you're just going to ski but it's less expensive to stay in town & take a Remise (car service for 700 pesos) and take the #52 bus back into town (16 pesos). This way you can have a few pints & awesome burgers at Manush! Or an awesome Choripan called the "chimmi hendrix" at Chimi Bar de Choris!…
