You take a ski lift up to the top, there is small coffee shop where you can see the panoramic view of Bariloche, which is touted as top 10 best panoramic views in the world. It's indeed breath-taking. Wonderful! When you are in Bariloche, definitely visit this place, for sure. Budget 1 hour if you are on the go. If... More

We took a 15 minute cab ride from our hotel and on arrival at the foot of the mountain you're greeted with the choice of a 40 minute hike or 8 minute cable car journey. Despite seeing plenty of pictures before we went, I still wasn't quite prepared for the amazing views that greeted us at the top. Absolutely incredible... More

If visiting Bariloche do not miss the short excursion to the Campanario hill top. You have a short good drive to the base, and from there you take an eight minutes chair lift. Bring a sweater and a cap as strong cold wind could be blowing, particularly with overcast weather. The view from there is unbelievable. You have the a... More

Fortunately, the rain held off, but it was bitterly cold at the top, with a wind "like a whetted knife". The ride up in the chairlift was sheltered from the wind, otherwise it would have been very unpleasant. The chairlift itself (2 person chairs) is old and slow. Stunning views from the summit though, so well worth visiting as long... More

This is a must see and pay the chair lift to the top. Walk all around to enjoy the views from there. When we visited it was windy raining and cold but the views make you ignore the inconveniences. There is a coffee shop on top where you can have great hot chocolate and their famous chocognac. Had to try... More

Getting the sube (bus pass) for local buses in Bariloche was an ordeal of visiting at least eight sites that supposedly sold it but didn’t until we found one that did. My companion spoke Spanish and had she not we would’ve had a hard time communicating. We took city bus #20 to Cerro Campanario (about $1.50 USD, runs every 1/2... More

The view is spectacular up there. You can walk up or take the cable car which was $200 each so not overly cheap but its fine given the scenery. The restaurant at the top is really reasonably priced given its location. We had a cup of tea each but pizzas looked popular. A must for this area.

One of the top ten views in the world. Go early in the morning for a perfect sun to highlight photos. Panoramic view is the best. Not to be missed. Try the coco with cognac on top.

My husband and I (mid 50s) and our 21 year-old hiked up to the top. A bit strenuous for my husband and me (and we work out regularly - obviously not well enough!), but really worth the effort. Gorgeous views from the top which can be enjoyed from chairs set on the terrace next to the restaurant (or snack shop?).... More

We arrived in bariloche around noon. Nothing planned. Overheared people in the plane that would visit this. Was a great tip. The most beautiful views we saw
