Our group took a chair lift that was continuing through the base, and we had to be quick to jump in and start climbing. This is a natural national forest so the lift has minimum noise to respect the flora and fauna. It takes about...More

This place is definitely a must go in Bariloche. You can access the top either by an airlift which is not too expensive or by climbing up, not a very long or hard climbing. The view from the top over the lakes is incredible.

My wife and I took the chair lift up Cerro Campanario on a very warm and clear day (rather than hiking up the hill!) The views at the top were nothing short of spectacular. It can get very windy so hold on to your hat!...More

Smooth lift takes you to the top of the mountain. Tree species are identified with markers on route for the nature lovers. Views from the top are marvellous. You can walk beyond the viewing platforms so it didn’t feel at all crowded when we visited....More

My wife and I up on Cerro Campanairo. It was part of our Tauck tour through South America. Nice ride to the top on a chair lift. For older people they can briefly stop the lift to make getting on and off easier and safer....More
