This estancia is famous in El Calafate. It's touristy but a great way to learn more about the Patagonian culture and pioneers who initially came here and how they survived. The highlight is the delicious dinner and show- check out local specialties- lamb with Patagonia...More

A place to visit if you want to access Punta Walichu, which offers a great view of the lake and a minitour to ancient indian paintings. They serve great typical argentinian food too.

A visitor has written that they were given Yerba Mate to drink and refer to the mate as "cowboy coffee". Who is this person? Perhaps he/she should be advised it is tea consumed in an Argentine culture. It's certainly not coffee. Comment made by John McCormick, visiting El Calafate from Scotland
