We took a catamaran trip to the glaciers - fantastic views. Sailing through the icebergs was the highlight of the day: all shapes, and 50 shades of blue. The boat won't get too close to Upsala Glacier, you will get a better view of Glacier Spegazzini. A must see!

We enjoyed our visit to the Upsala Glacier by boat which departed from Puerta Bandera, approximately 30 minutes from El Calafate. It was an all day trip and included great food and beverages, but the views were stunning. We were fortunate that the weather was relatively clear. We stopped and were able to disembark to scout around an old cattle... More

Amazing, incredible, beautiful, huge, magnificent just begun to describe the power and beauty of nature at its best. The colors are better than any artist could paint, the sheer size is awe inspiring and the millions of shapes and sizes are simply amazing. This is a must see transaction.

If you want to take a boat to visit a glacier don't plan to actually get close to Upsala. They sell you tickets but don't tell you they can't get close due to the ice blocking the way. The best glacier from a boat experience we had was in nearby Chile at Lago Grey.

This glacier is the one of the best among many glaciers in this region. Best attraction is moving ice bergs with different shapes & sizes.

I visited twice. I like the scenery and sailing among icebergs falling from it. It is regrettable that the glacier is receding so fast. It must be preserved more seriously. It is real contact with Nature.

I had made all my bookings at the hotel desk, but there were agents in the town that did it for a cheaper price.

Amazing trip by boat to the upsala glacier. We took some very nice photos to the lago argentino and to the icebergs that were very close to the boat and to the beautiful mountains surrounding the lake
