Although we also did the tour (1000 pesos) around the lighthouse I wouldn't go for it for the second time. Frankly it's just a 2 hour boat trip along the Beagle canal around the lighthouse and back. Lots of people taking photos with their phones...More

A landmark as part of the Beagle Channel excursions, close to the sea lion island, the lighthouse is aptly named since "Eclaireurs" has double meaning in French - those who bring light, and scouts. Both appropriate in this environment at the end of the world!

It takes around 4 hours sailing from Ushuaia Port to the lighthouse. The indications of the tour guide were very accurate. You can see Sea lions and a lot of birds. Recommended! Note: After buying the excursion you must pay a tax for leaving the...More

We got there on a boat trip, and the view was amazing! Besides the lighthouse, there is plenty of nature all around to admire. I had a very romantic time there!

We saw the "lighthouse at the end of the world" from our Celebrity cruise ship. It is very pretty spot. The ship could not get that close but with glasses we could see it clearly. Photos do not do justice!

So you take the classic boat ride, you get to see the sea lions ( Lots of them) and be ready for your picture of the lighthouse. If in season definately go to see the penguins ( It has to be in the summer months...More

This lighthouse can only be seen when you take a boat tour (tres marias would be the recommendation). It is not possible to disembark on the island where the lighthouse is, but still nice to see it from the boat.

Fui en diciembre 2015, la excursión la adquirí en el hotel, el costo fue de 750 pesos. Verifica que incluye lugares incluye el paseo, quizá se deba a eso el costo. saludos.
