This is a monument to remember the people killed in the Falkland war. Of cause it is important to remember the people who sacrifices their life in war, no matter who you are or where you come from. The place is not situated in a very attractive area, but there is made quite some effort to make this attractive. What... More

Plaza Malvinas is like the other memorials I have been to in various parts of the world. Sad. What is so important that we must kill an other human being? Why do “We”, I mean the world, through out history, kill each other over “Stuff”? A rhetorical question, but this memorial honoring those that lost their lives in this war... More

This is a very well set out memorial to the Argentinian dead from the Malvinas war. A touching monument is there to the over 300 young sailors who perished when the Belgrano was sunk.

Whether it's winter or summer, the astonishing sight and the history of this park will be amazing. I find this place quiet although it's right beside the highway. If you also like to play with snow like I do, this is also a perfect place as it is spacious.

Very nicely done and respectful remembrance for the Argentinians who died in the conflict. Just a short walk off of the main drag, well worth a visit to pay respect.

just outside the town a short walk the memorial is worth a visit if for nothing else just to remember those who died on both sides in the conflict. as with most memorials the history is more important than the commemorative stones

It was a very unique experience seeing the memorials and reading the history of the war from another perspective. There was some vandalism on some of the pictures; which highlighted the resentment toward the British. All the vandalism was to pictures of British sailors/soldiers. Overall, it was a very beautiful plaza and memorial.
