The hike was steep but loads of fun. At the top, we explored the glacier and ice cave. The trail was very muddy and slippery.

Even though this is not a pretty touristic spot, I highly recommend this route: the trekking experience is wonderful and very complete. It starts with forest, then goes via 'humedales' plenty of heavy mud and finally reaches the rocky mountain part to the lake 'laguna...More

This was the best hike ever to a really beautiful place! However, I think it might be officially closed, since there were signs saying that, but the gate is open. We had the path in wikiloc which is defintely a good way not to get...More

The hike to the glacier is not too tough, but you should expect it to take 3 hours for each way. There is a nice lagoon before arriving at the glacier that is for sure worth a visit as well. Be aware that it is...More

Escape the crowds at the Martial Glacier and head out by taxi to this off the grid (apart from the locals) hike. The ride out of town is short and most drivers know where to drop you off. The cost at the time was 140...More

Hike starts at the edge of the Andora neighborhood, Ushuaia's equivalent of a Rio favela. What follows is a grueling 2-4 hours hike up a 30-40% angle through forest and mountain. It took us 2h20 to reach the glacier lake, and the view was absolutely...More

I took this trek on the last day of my time in Argentina, and while it wore me out, it was a one in a lifetime trek. It takes you from the river valley, through several different types of mountain forests, then finally to the...More
