I don't care that there is an address (4948 S. Oatman Highway) and a telephone number (928-788-1764 that has, bye-the-bye, been disconnected) for the Oatman Stables. My wife and I have been to Oatman three times and have never seen anything approaching a burro stables....More

The whole town is a step back in time (except for the tourists). Fun place to visit on Route 66. Head to Kingman from there on the old hwy.

Seeing the "wild" burros was so much fun! We brought carrots to feed them and they loved them. Don't feed the babies!!! What a cool thing to see them in the streets.

This is a very unique little town. Definitely a tourist attraction but who cares? Its full of locals that are very kind as well. It's super fun, lots to do and see, and beautiful scenery all around. One of the coolest places I've ever been.

Cool to meet the burros on Main street in Oatman but be careful even if they are nice to you. It's Worth the effort to drive on the narrow RT 66 road from Kingman up to Oatman.
